Clearing around the old barns

We are getting to the end of the road with regard to clearing away all the overgrown areas around the outbuildings. For the last week Igor and Julianna have been doing this, pushing on despite the incessant rain! They have done a great job and the whole area looks so much

better as you can see from the pictures. The only area still left to clear up is at the lake by the old gate and this they will do before they leave for the UK on Wednesday. They have worked so hard over the last few weeks to really make a difference to the chateau grounds. It will seem strange from Wednesday onwards not to hear the sounds of the chainsaw & strimmers!
