When will the rain stop

I think it has rained nearly every day for the last three weeks! We still have some stuff to do outside but I think that this will now get left until the spring. Today I took a walk down to the lake and the water has now flooded over the edge and is right across the pathway so you can longer reach the gate! All I ask is a few days of sunshine so everything can dry out......
