Gardening

For the last few evenings I have been strimming down by the lake. It is a nice temperature at this time of day. Last year we cleared out this area which was massively overgrown. So this year I want to keep it neat and tidy and allow the grass to take hold. Already since the autumn it has grown over much of the area where we cut the weeds back. I have been trying to hire a machine to cut down all of the very long grass but it is proving difficult as the hire shops have no idea when the
equipment is coming back. Hopefully next week. The main problem of course is what to do with all of the hay when we have cut it. There is just so much of it. Hopefully a neighbour farmer will take most of it away from the big areas when we finally get it cut. He wants it for his cows! In the meantime the lake is really looking beautiful.
