At last the asteroid is out

There are so many massive rocks in the earth around the chateau that we have started calling them asteroids! We have even found a huge one underneath the floor in one of the rooms where we are digging the drainage trenches. It was set into the clay / soil almost like glue. We had to spend a 

whole morning just clearing around and under it until we could get a pick axe underneath it. Finally it started to move and three of the guys manhandled it out of the hole. Hopefully that is the last of this size that we will find inside the chateau. Now we can get on with the trench and preparing to lay a concrete floor.
