The little things

Sometimes it is the smallest of things that make it all worthwhile. A couple of days ago when Klaus and Eduardo where clearing up around the back of the chateau they noticed in one of the walls a very small feature in two of the stones. A small swirling shape had been cut into them. These stones are very old and quite worn. They were not part of any kind of patter, they must just be old decorated stone from a long since demolished part of the chateau that have been reused. I think as we have to re point this wall we will take these cute stones out and put them on display with other such curiosities that we have found.
