First joists in place

Today saw the completion of the floor joists in the first bathroom. We now wait for the plumber and the electrician to do their stuff. Then we can put the plaster board in between the old oak beams and skim it. The new floor / ceiling sits above the old beams with no contact so will be good for sound insulation. We will of course be putting a lot of roc wool insulation in between the two levels. It feels great to finally see things starting to take shape even if it is just a little bit.
