One big wall

The last couple of days Charlie has been boarding and plastering one of the largest walls in the chateau. It has been in the high 30's this week and he really struggled with the plaster drying too fast. However the end result is great. This wall was an external wall of the old chateau main hall so it is very old. 

We are now onto the third room with the plastering and it is so good to see things coming back together. We are starting to getting an idea of how the place is going to look. The rooms that we are doing are in the "Regency Suite" which will be decorated as it would have been in the 1700's. This part of the chateau was actually modernised to this style back in the mid 1700's but as not much has been done since it was due a make over!
