Full on with the Montant

This last week we have had Mark our carpenter in to fit Montant wall and ceiling frames. These are metal frames to form the basis of a stud wall that we will then cover with plaster board. It goes up very quickly and is also very strong but best of all it is very cheap to buy!

It really feels that in the last month we have achieved so much, things are moving at a pace as we are putting the place back together after months of just ripping everything apart! This week we had the Electrician, Pasterer, Stonemason, Roofer, Plumber, Carpenter and the boys doing the labouring.
