Bridal suite windows

The Bridal suite has two very large picture windows that look out over the chateau gardens, one to the rear and the other to the front. Like all of the windows in the chateau they have not been painted in years. The old lead paint is hard and cracked. It is quite a job to clean them up and replace any broken glass. I am pretty sure that they are from the 1700's, hand made and beautiful. We remove the old paint and sand right back to the wood. We then paint the outside part but leave the inside as natural wood that we will just wax and oil. So far we have nearly finished both of the window panels for the front window. These will soon be going back into place in the Bridal suite.
