Tidying up

Soon I will be leaving the chateau for the winter, only returning for a few days each month. So there is a lot to be done before I go. Most of this is in the gardens, clearing the pine needles and leaves up, cutting the grass so it stays at a manageable level and I don't return to another hay field in the spring! I have been lucky this last week as the weather has stayed mostly dry and even quite warm on some days.
