A new bit of kit

Always nice to have some new toys to play with. The latest addition to my tool garage is a stump grinder. We have cut down lots of trees and bushes over the last 18 months. We are always left with the stump sticking out of the ground which is always very difficult, if not impossible, to remove by hand. This is where the stump grinder comes in, it does exactly what it says on the box - grinds the old stumps down into the earth. You can then cover them over with earth and seed so that you soon have new grass where the stump was. Hardly any mess either, just a lot of sawdust which you can use as a mulch when filling in the hole or just blow it away with a leaf blower! Whilst it is a physical job to operate the grinder it is so much easier than trying to dig the stump out!
