From little acorns......

Last November I collected up about 20 acorns from around the bottom of our oak trees. These trees are hundreds of years old. I planted them in a few large flower pots and now they are just starting to grow. I am hoping that I will get about 10 trees from this endeavour which will then be planted in the park. We have cut down lots of dead and self seeded trees and now we are replacing them.
