Clearing the front of the Chateau

The path outside the main doors has always been fully of weeds that we kept having to cut back. Today we decided that enough was enough and it was time for them all to go. Some of them were pretty deep so we needed the services of Mel the digger! But what a difference it has made, a nice clear path. At some time this summer we will remove the render from the wall and repoint it all. Then we can put down a membrane to stop the weeds returning and lay gravel here.
