Bread Oven

As well as renovating the cottage facade we have another connected project on the go, literally connected - the structure that houses the bread oven. This is in very poor condition. The roof collapsed long ago allowing water and wind to attack the stonework. If it is left much longer it will soon be gone forever. I have been on Mel the digger to clear around the footings. Then using the air chisel I have been cleaning out the old mortar and render. We will have to repair it from the ground up, leaving time for each repair to harden and strengthen. As you can see in the photo below, one corner has to be fully rebuilt.
