Rob has now started work on repairing the walls of the old bread oven. Over the next weeks we will stabilise and repair all of the walls and put down a new roof above the actual oven to protect it for many years to come. We plan to increase the height of the walls and create a bathroom for the cottage above the bread oven. This will of course mean knock a doorway through to the mezzanine floor in the cottage. This project is one that I have wanted to do for a long time. The condition of this bread oven has been deteriorating for years and we have to stop this and restore it.
