A better view

I have always disliked the view of the chateau as seen from the lake. It was unattractive and drab and something needed to be done about it. It occurred to me that it would be greatly improved if we removed all of the render from the back wall and repointed it. So Rob was set to the task, after a couple of days it was looking so much better.

We have to take improve the look of the little electricity building that is tacked to the back of this part of the chateau. Once that is done and a new roof added to it we will take the rest of the render off. There is also a large cupboard in one of the rooms that is inside this part of the chateau. We plan to make this into a window, I think that this will improve this wall even more.
